You know what, Stuart, I LIKE YOU. You're not like the other people, here, in the trailer park.
Some people have broken Darwinism down into a simple statement: Survival of the fittest. That's not exactly what Darwin was talking about. If memory serves correct it was all about Natural Selection. (For the most part.) I think that's where if the species wants to continue its existence the strong, healthy ones won't breed with the stupid, sickly ones.
People are always doing stupid things. This is why I like to watch TV shows that have videos of people doing stupid things. Because almost every time the video ends with something bad happening. Know what I mean? Dude jumps from building, dude falls to his doom; dude tries to jump moving car, dude gets his dumb ass run over; idiots flee from police, idiots get hit by freight train and DIE. This is natures way of weeding out the stupid, sickly ones. (Although they still manage to breed. Haven't figured that one out yet.)
Nature finds a way. I heard that in Jurassic Park. Nowhere is that more apparent than in an article I just read. It's just that nature needed a helping hand. Or helping roller coaster in this case.
This stupid kid from South Carolina decided to ignore the warning signs, six-foot fences, and common sense by entering a restricted area. You know they don't tell you to stay out because they feel like it. (I tell my kids the same thing: I don't say "no" to be mean, but because I know riding your Big Wheel down the porch steps will result in pain. And a possible trip to the emergency room. Again.) So this fucklehead enters the restricted area to get the hat he lost during a ride (reports say) and what do you think happened? That's right...decapitation.
The loss a human life, no matter the circumstance, is usually not a good thing. But sometimes you need to find the positive in certain situations. The positive I see here is that this guy's "stupid gene" won't be passed on to the next generation. You know: like begets like. Stupid people have stupid kids.
This is also another example of no group being safe from the stupid people. You see, this kid and his family were there with a church group. That's right: even stupid people attend church.
Typically I would label this a "Here's your sign" moment, but he ain't got nowhere to hang it. Or anywhere to put his hat.
